Church and State: Obama to "do the Lord's work"

Wednesday, May 14, 2008

Any bets that the hypocrites over at the Americans United for the Separation of Church and State will, again, have nothing to say about this?

They will probably have as much to say about this as they do when Rev. Huckabee speaks about his faith, or when George Bush went on CBN to talk about his evangelism. Remember there is a huge difference between a candidate talking about his faith (such as Obama and Huckabee) and creating tax payer funded faith-based initiatives while in office (such as Bush).

Barry Lynn has no problem with theocracy, as long as it's his and the UCC's progressive, sodomite theocracy based on the theology of their god, godette, or whatever.

The only theocracy they fear is one with the Ten Commandments in place that acknowledges the Bible as true. They fear the threat of criminalizing things like abortion, adultery, and all the historically criminal behaviors they embrace as enlightenment. They also fear anything that hinders the full implementation of the Communist Manifesto after they've come so far in their struggle an atheist draconian state.

Obama used UCC and their pulpits to gain votes. He therefore failed to keep church and state separate. Use it for his own gain, and was not concerned about the repercussions to UCC from it.

Sodomite theocracy?

James, why do you allow these posts? Is this really what you want on your site?

David:

I am more open to a variety of posts now that I've unplugged the anonymous postings... at least there is some level of accountability. It would be very difficult to reject posts that use even the harshest language and also claim that this blog is open to a variety of opinions.

Congratulations James! It looks like a well-known hate group (as listed by the Southern Poverty Law Center), Americans for Truth, is using your blog as support in a vile attack against the UCC.

You must be so proud!

Again, congratulations!!

Oh Joy!!!!

There is a link from Americans for Truth to this website?

Well, this website has a link to the UCC website, does that mean that James supports the UCC?

Any one can link to any article. This is nothing, but a cheap, petty attack on James.

Yes, as a fellow UCC-member I would hope that James supports the UCC. I know, wishful thinking.

Um, Ok I'm lost, why would Barry Lynn have anything to say about this? It's an ad by a candidate paid for by the candidate's campaign?

Perhaps when the UCC stops supporting FALN terrorists, violating the IRS tax code regarding political campaign intervention and either forces Trinity to dump its racist black liberation theology or dumps Trinity for its stubborn adherence to such anti-white garbage... then you could get your 'wish'.

James wrote:

"Generally speaking, the local churches of the United Church of Christ do a tremendous and faithful job of ministering to their members and community. However, over the last few decades, the national offices of the United Church of Christ have shifted away from the needs of the local church and have set on a course of dishonest political activism that few in the local church are aware of and, often unknowingly, contribute to.

The purpose of this site is to discern what is truthful and factual and to challenge those in the national office to be honest in their pronouncements. Most of the content on this site references third party information sources."

To some people, some of the time, dissent is the highest form of loyalty.
