Devious, Unfair to criticize Wright's words that he SPOKE loud and clear? After listening to Wright's entire sermon I'm even more convinced that he hates America. He had to be proud of those sermons and wanted to spread the word (so to speak) because the way the media obtained them was to walk into the church's store and purchase the DVDs! He is certainly spreading his word - not the Word of God like he should be doing as a "Christian" minister. Shame on him. I don't believe for one second his or Obama's spin on this whole situation. Shame, shame, shame.
ReplyDeleteI've examined the context, and the context is that he hates America! It's his right as an American to think and preach whatever he wants, but it's the right of the American people to take offense to his words and to elect somebody from OUTSIDE his congregation to be our president!
ReplyDeleteAs I sat in the Sanctuary this morning I wondered why Wright didn't ask God's forgiveness for this nation's past sins.

He took the low road full of hate and asked God to damn the very nation that allows him to preach in public.
I couldn't help but feel sad for the man.
His entire sermon is more damning. I am sickened that he continus with his arrogant righteousness and that the church I belong to supports it. Lost is about all I can feel right now..sad, very sad.
