Obama speech before United Church of Christ General Synod used in campaign

Presidential candidate and United Church of Christ member Barack Obama is using a video of his speech before the UCC's General Synod in June on his campaign web site. Obama's campaign speech before the United Church of Christ's General Synod prompted an IRS complaint in August.
On Obama's campaign site, visitors are encouraged to "Tell Your Friends, Family and Congregation Members about Faith – Action – Change, People of Faith for Barack Obama." As we noted yesterday,
Obama's is aggressively campaigning in churches around the country to generate support. The campaign site also enables supporters to upload the email addresses of other church members to encourage their support for Obama.Americans United for the Separation of Church and State (headed by Barry Lynn, an ordained United Church of Christ minister) has repeatedly given Obama a free pass to campaign at events like the UCC's General Synod and the UCC's Iowa Conference annual meeting.
